Tenders are invited for Procurement of Vehicles for the Department of Valuation Under Operating Leasing Method Terms and Conditions Vehicle Type 01 Motor Car Vehicle Condition Vehicles with a mileage less than 150,000 km at the point of hiring. Contract Period 00 Months Eligible Suppliers A lessor must be either a licensed franchise Vehicle dealer in Sri Lanka, recognized as an authorized agent of vehicle brands, maintaining a minimum inventory of five (05) or more vehicles, or a company engaged in leasing vehicles on a rental basis or financial institution which is registered under the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. Services to be provided Lessor should bear all routine maintenance and repairs including annual licensing, emission testing and insurance. Replace of Vehicles Similar type of replacement vehicle shall be provided within 24 hours of any breakdown or repair which takes more than one day (24 hours). Interested bidders may obtain further information from the Chief Accountant, Department of Government Valuation, No. 748, Maradana Road, Colombo 10, via the contact number Oil- 2694381 (Ext: 201) up to 22.07.2025 Between 9.00 am to 3.00 pm on working days. A complete set of bidding documents may be obtained on submission of a written request to the Chief Accountant of the Department of Government Valuation, upon payment of Rs.3,500.00 as non-refundable fee between 9.00 am to 3.00 pm from 09.07.2025 till 22.07.2025. Payments should be made only by cash to the Shroff of the Department of Government Valuation. Bids must be deposited in the tender box kept in the Finance Division, Fist Floor, Department of Government Valuation dispatched by registered post addressed to the Chairman, Department Procurement Committee, Department of Government Valuation, No. 748, Maradana Road, Colombo 10, to reach at or before 2.00 pm on 23.07.2025. Bids will be opened immediately after closing of bids at the Department of Government Valuation, Finance Division, No. 748, Maradana Road, Colombo 10. in the presence of the bidders or their representatives.
