Request For Prequalification: Rfpq 202527-Cop02 Contractor For Design-Build Of Oliphant Lake Dam Upgrade Projectthis Request For Prequalification (Rfpq) Is An Invitation By The Malahat Nation (The Nation) Qualified Respondents (“Contractors”) To Submit A Response For A Contractor For Design-Build Of Oliphant Lake Dam Upgrade Project, As Described In Schedule A Of This Rfpq.The Contractors Must Be Reputable And Qualified Design-Builders With Proven Experiences Acting As Contractor And Must Possess The Capability To Undertake Earthen-Embankment Dam Design And Construction, Concrete Dam Rehabilitation Design And Construction, Including Seismic Upgrades, Mechanical Valves/Gates Design And Installation And Construction Activities Specifically For The Oliphant Lake Dams Project. Additionally, Contractors Should Have A Demonstrated Track Record Of Successfully Completing Projects Of A Similar Nature And Scale.The Prequalification Is The First Of A Two-Stage Procurement Process: Stage 1 – Prequalification And Stage 2 – Request For Proposal (Rfp) Process.It’S The Nation’S To Intention That Up To A Maximum Of The Top Five (5) Highest-Ranked Respondents From This Rfpq Process Will Be Invited To Participate In Stage 2 – Rfp Process. However, The Nation, At Its Sole Discretion, Reserves The Right To Qualify More Or Fewer Contractors During This Rfpq Process As Deemed Appropriate.The Rfp Process Of The Project Is Anticipated To Take Place In The Summer Of 2025, With The Expected Construction Of The Project Is Scheduled To Begin In The Summer Of 2026. However, The Exact Timeline Will Be Finalized By The Nation At A Later Date.
