The Municipality Of Au Am Rhein Operates A Water Supply Network Along With Water Supply Systems For Approx. 3,500 Inhabitants On Its District. The Municipality Is The Owner Of The Water Supply Systems. The Feed -In Into The Supply Network Takes Place Via A Network Feed From The Bill Field Waterworks And A Composite Management Of The Municipality Of Durmersheim. The Supply Network Has A Total Length Of Approx. 29 Km Which Is Managed In A Pressure Zone. The Area Of The Network Area Comprises 1,328 Ha. The Annual Release Amount Is Approximately 160,000 M³. The Pipe Network Essentially Consists Of Cast Lines Of Size Dn 80 To Dn 300. The Mean Water Hardness Is 20 Degrees. H. In The Bill Field Waterworks, The Drinking Water Is Pumped Out Of A Deep Well From A Deep Well And Mixed Over 2 Mixed Containers With 60 M³ Drinking Water Every Day From The Composite Line Of The Municipality Of Durmersheim. With The Municipality Of Durmersheim There Is A Contract For Emergency Care. The Entire Network Is Constantly Operated With 4.7 Bar Pressure. There Is No Treatment Of The Drinking Water, Only Oxygen -Poor Groundwater At The Output Of The Waterworks Is Supplied By Means Of Volume -Current -Controlled System. The Water Quality Is Monitored In Coordination With The Rastatt Health Department And The “Eurofins Labor Vogt” Laboratory. The Operations Are Currently Being Operated By The Netze Bw By The End Of 2025. The Future Technical Management Of This Water Supply From January 2026 Is Part Of This Award Procedure. It Is Said To Include A Period Of 5 Years With A Two -Time Extension Option By 1 Year Each.
