Tenders are invited for Consultant/Creative Agency to Support Behaviour Change Interventions in Bassotu Village under the Basin Project Invitation for Quotations/Bids Consultant/Creative Agency to Support Behaviour Change Interventions in Bassotu Village under the BASIN Project. Background WaterAid is an International Non-Governmental Organization (INGO) with a vision of ensuring Safe Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH)for Everyone, everywhere by 2030. WaterAids mission is to transform lives through sustainable and safe water, sanitation and hygiene. WaterAid has had its operations in Tanzania since 1983 under the name WaterAid Tanzania (WAT), which is registered as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO)in the United Republic of Tanzania and operates as a Country Programme and a functional office of WaterAid U.K. within the East African Region. WaterAid has launched its five-year strategy, with two aims. To attain sustainable, inclusive and safe WASH services and behaviors in targeted geographic areas for wider change and To prioritize WASH across the health sector to improve public health. WAT is currently implementing the Behavioral Adaptation for Water Security and Inclusion (BASIN) project. This initiative is funded by the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) Canada and the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) through the Climate Adaptation and Resilience (CLARE) program. The BASIN project is implemented by a consortium of eight organizations and is being piloted in three African countries such as Tanzania, Malawi, and Burkina Faso with a focus on understanding and influencing behaviors that contribute to water security in the context of climate change. Objective To collaborate with a creative agency or creative individuals to support the designing, development and pre-testing behaviour change communication campaigns package and materials / tools that address one or more of the prioritized behaviours identified in Bassotu village under the BASIN project. The intervention will be designed using Behaviour Centred Design (BCD)process informed by the creative brief and co-design workshop process. The delivery and implementation of the intervention will not be the direct responsibility of the creative agency. Instead, it will be led by appropriate local mechanisms such as government departments, community based groups, or schools to ensure salability, ownership, and sustainability. Where relevant and if the agency demonstrates capacity, a separate agreement may be considered for delivery support following pre-testing.
