Supporting Services For The Government - Platform For Sale (Auction And Sale) Of Emission Certificates (Fuel Material Emission Trade Law) From 2026. The National Emission Trade System (Nehs) Introduced In 2021 Captures The Emissions From The Burning Of Fossil Burning And Fuels. The Legal Basis For The Introduction Of The Neh Is The Fuel Emission Trade Law (Gegg). The Subject Of The Service Is The Structure And Operation Of A Platform For The Sale Of Emission Certificates In Accordance With Gegg From 2026. The Service Is Based On The Following Legal Bases: The Allocation Of Emission Certificates In The Nehs Takes Place In Accordance With Section 10 (1) Sentence 2 Of The Geeg. In 2026, The Emission Certificates Are Auctioned As Part Of Auctions In Which The Price Is Formed Within A Given Corridor. With The Tehg-European Law Adaptation Act In Section 10 (3) Gegg, Which Came Into Force On March 6, 2025, The Legislator Has Provided That The Federal Governments Regulation Can Determine Further Specific Regulations For The Sale From 2026. Section 10 (3) Sentence 2 No. 1 Of The Geegg Also Stipulates That This Legal Ordinance Of The Federal Government Can Commission The Sale Of The Sale By Another Position By The Federal Environment Agency. The Federal Government Will Exercise The Possibility Of Delegating The Sale By The Competent Authority In Section 10 (3) Sentence 2 Of The Enkg To Delegate The Sale By The Competent Authority As Part Of The Amendment Of The Fuel Emission Trade Regulation (Behv). The Sale Of The Emission Certificates By The Platform Should Begin By July 1, 2026 At The Latest.
