Quotation are invited for HLU Community Health Activation. The Department of Community Development (DCD) is implementing the HLU Community Health Activation Program, a comprehensive initiative to embed physical activity in the everyday lives of Emirati communities, with a specific focus on high-percentage Emirati districts across Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Al Dhafra regions. The program is built on extensive district-level analysis and stakeholder engagement, revealing that despite existing infrastructure investments, physical activity rates remain below target levels (less than 50% in many priority districts). Key barriers identified include time constraints, facility access, motivation challenges, and cultural considerations that affect participation, particularly among women, elderly (40+), youth, and People of Determination (PoD).
