Tenders are invited for Purchase of Automated Whole Blood Activated Clotting Time Monitoring Device. Value of Bid Security: 200000/-. Bids are invited by the Chairman of the Department Procurement Committee of National Hospital, Kandy from qualified suppliers to supply, installation and commissioning and handover of below mentioned medical equipment to National Hospital, Kandy. Since bids are opened at 10.30 a.m. on 22.07.2025, bidders are requested to send their bids to be received before 10.30 a.m. that day. Bids prepared in two copies as Original and Duplicate should be sent by registered post to Chairman, Regional Procurement Committee, National Hospital, Kandy and if delivered by hand, it can be deposited in the sealed tender box kept at Chief Accountants office before scheduled time. Date of opening of bids and Name of relevant equipment should be mentioned at the top left corner of the envelope enclosing bids. 1. To obtain bid documents, bidders should submit the original of the receipt for payment of non refundable fee of Rs. 3,500.00 made to Shroff Section of National Hospital, Kandy and certified copy of Business Registration Certificate and request letter. Bid specimen forms can be obtained from 01.07.2025 to 21.07.2025 during normal working days from 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. from the Procurement Section of National Hospital, Kandy. If a representative is visiting, a request letter authorized by applicant and identity card to prove identity should be submitted. 2. Bid specimen forms should be inspected free of charge at Procurement Section of National Hospital, Kandy prior to submission of bids. 3. Every bid accompanies by a bid security obtained in favour of Director of National Hospital, Kandy to the value mentioned in above table and valid up to 05.11.2025 attached with original bid document should be submitted. 4. Bid should be submitted in accordance with terms & conditions and specifications mentioned in specimen bid documents. 5. A pre-bid meeting in this regard will be held at 10.30 a.m. on 14.07.2025 at Directors office of National Hospital, Kandy. It is mandatory to attend to that meeting. 6. Relevant bids will be opened immediately after closing of acceptance at 10.30 a.m. on 22.07.2025 at the Directors office of National Hospital, Kandy. Applicant or an authorized representative may participate at the time of opening of bids. When a representative is attending, a letter of authority of applicant and Identity Card should be produced to confirm identity. 7. The original of the PCA 03 Certificate should be submitted along with bids when bids exceeding the value of Rs. five million ( 5,000,000.00 )obtained from the office of Registrar of Public Contracts as per the Public Contracts Act No. 03 of 1987.
