Expression of Interest are invited for Evaluation of Levers to Scale Results-Based Finance in Agriculture and Livestock The general objective of the consultancy is twofold. First, this consultancy aims to generate knowledge about the global landscape of RBF instruments used in agriculture and livestock. Second, this consultancy aims to prepare the ground to build a case study around RBF in Colombia and the potential that these instruments have to propel a systemic adoption of promising agriculture and livestock technologies. The specific objectives of this consultancy are as follows: - Characterize the landscape of RBF instruments globally used in agriculture and biodiversity and the role of digital technologies in the deployment of those instruments - Characterize the key stakeholders identified in the global agriculture, livestock, and biodiversity RBF landscape. - Assess the performance, challenges, opportunities and emerging lessons of RBF instruments globally used in agriculture - Design field research to be conducted in Colombia to assess whether farmers adopting Climate-Smart Livestock (CSL) practices, supported by digital agriculture solutions and linked to RBF payment schemes, are incentivized to further adopt livestock technologies. The results will be used by the World Bank in its policy dialogue to make more informed and appropriate decisions related to the enabling environment to promote the use of RBF instruments in the agriculture and livestock sector.
