Tinted-Placement Monitoring Of Limited Salmon Watercourses In Norway 2025-2029 . The Description Assignment Includes Biological And Water Chemical Monitoring And Evaluation Of The Effect Of Liming In The Salmon Watercourses. The Liming Should Restore Water Quality Affected By Long -Range Acid Rainfall To A Level That Is Not Harmful To Salmon And Other Vulnerable Species. A Central Goal Is The Reconstruction Or Re -Establishment Of Salmon Stocks To A Level Of Normal Production. The Overall Objectives Of The Liming Activities Are To Secure Or Recreate The Good Ecological Condition According To The Water Regulations With Regard To Acidification, And To Ensure Good Accessibility For Recreational Fishing (Harvestable Surplus) In Acidified Areas. In All Limed Salmon Watercourses, Surveys Of Juveniles (Field Examination In The Autumn) And Benthic (Spring And Autumn Samples) Will Be Carried Out Every Other Year On A Fixed Station Network. Studies And Analyzes Shall Be Conducted According To Standardized And Academically Recognized Methodology. During The Auspices Of The Environmental Directorate, Water Samples Are Taken On A Fixed Station Network At Least Once A Month, Which Is Submitted To Water -Chemical Analyzes. These Analysis Results Must Be Compiled And Evaluated In The Measurement Monitoring Each Year. The Results Of The Biological And Water -Chemical Surveys Are Compiled And Presented In An Annual Report, Where The Development Over Time Is Shown (Based On Previous Years Results), The Goal Achievement Of The Liming Is Evaluated, And The Need For Changes In The Liming Strategy Is Assessed.
