Tenders are invited for Consultancy Service for CSOs Capacity Civic Space and Advo. consultancy service for CSOs Capacity Strengthening in Kuajok, Warrap State Duty Station: Kuajok - Gogrial West, Tonj North and Tonj South County CIDA Overall objectives: The organization aims to enhance the CSOs capacities effectiveness in advocating for good governance, promoting citizen engagement, and delivering essential services. This involves building the organizational capacity, improving their ability to influence policy, and fostering collaboration and partnerships. Specific objective(s): 1. Conduct need assessment and knowledge gap during inception meeting and consultation meeting 2. Equipping CSOs with the knowledge and tools to effectively advocate for policy changes and reform. 3. Supporting CSOs in developing evidence-based policy recommendations and contributing to policy design. 4. Conduct a training to strengthen the CSOs capacities in internal structures, leadership, and financial management. 5. Improving the ability to track progress, measure impact, and adapt strategies 6. Facilitating collaboration between CSOs and government stakeholders to amplify their collective voice and impact. 7. Supporting CSOs in raising public awareness about key issues and mobilizing communities around specific causes. in 8. Ensuring CSOs can effectively promote and protect human rights and advocate for democratic principles. Promote a culture of respect for womens social and economic rights at the local level identified states/counties through strengthening and reinforcing capacities of key actors. VINITIATIVEFURDEVELOPMEN CIDA Executive Director s COMMU office 2 Purpose The overall purpose of the consultancy service is to train identified members Warrap Civil Society Organizations Network, heads of IDPs, Returnee, Refugees and other beneficiaries of civic service in Warrap State on Advocacy and Awareness Campaigns, human rights monitoring, and engagement with government authorities and international bodies in promoting free, independent media as a tool for civic engagement, including orienting journalists on ethical reporting and the protection of press freedom through a focus group discussion. Organize a one-day policy dialogue and consultation meeting for 35 members of civil society organization, government, peace ministry, human right commission, peace and reconciliation commission, Relief and Rehabilitation commission, security, and international organizations to address barriers to civic participation. Training Scope: The consultancy service will conduct a two days CSOs capacity strengthening in Kuajok for all identified members of Warrap State Civil Society Organization Network and stakeholders. The consultant is expected to develop training proposal application, training manual (in a simple format with pictorial illustrations), training session plans, accommodation and facilitate the training sessions, and develop training reports.
