Expression of Interest for Provision of Consultancy Services for Design and Supervision for Construction of Proposed State of the Art 600 Beds Cardiac Teaching Hospital-Phase 2. To this end, Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS) would like to invite eligible consultants to indicate their interests in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may form joint-ventures to enhance their chances of qualification. Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedures shall be based on the African Development Banks Rules and Procedures for the use of Consultants May 2008 Edition which are available on the Banks website at http://www.afdb.org. The consulting firm must demonstrate experience in the following areas: Design and construction supervision of tertiary referral hospitals or specialized cardiac facilities. Compliance with international hospital accreditation standards and best practices. Integration of state-of-the-art medical technology and sustainability principles. Managing multi-disciplinary teams across large-scale infrastructure projects. The Consultant shall provide references for at least three (3) similar projects completed within the last ten (10) years, including project descriptions, contract values, locations, and client contact details for verification purposes.
