The Romanian Gendarmerie Found The Need To Increase The Level Of Training In Risk Management And To Prevent The Effects Of A Crisis Situation On The State Border. Starting From This Finding, It Was Considered That It Is Imperative To Improve The Material Insurance During The Execution Of The Missions To Maintain The Safety And Security On The State Border Of Romania. The General Objective Of The Project Is To Strengthen The Supervision Capacities At The Eu External Borders In Order To Prevent And Combat Illegal Migration And Cross -Border Crime, Especially The Illegal Introduction Of Migrants, Human Trafficking And Terrorism. Through The Purchase Of Technical Relevant Products, The Contracting Authority Wants To Improve The Endowment Of The Military Units Within The Romanian Gendarmerie, On The Line Of Safety And Security On The State Border Of Romania By Developing A Cooperation Framework, Common Training In The Field Of Border Management And By Investments In Specialized Equipment And Infrastructure For The Law Enforcement Authorities. Through The Purchase Of 8+1 Seater Patrol Vehicles, The Contracting Authority Wants To Improve The Equipment Of Military Units Within The Romanian Gendarmerie, In Order To Strengthen The Supervision Capabilities At The External Borders, Prevent And Combat Illegal Migration And Cross -Border Crime. The Project Is Carried Out In The Context Of National And European Needs Regarding The Security Of External Borders And Aims To Improve The Effectiveness Of Supervisory Operations. 8+1 Seater Patrol Vehicles Will Be Used For Patrol And Intervention Missions On The State Border For The Purpose Of Preventing And Combating Cross -Border Crime.
