On November 16, 2021, The City Of Wuppertals Council Decided That The City Of Wuppertal Will Apply For The Buga To Carry Out In 2031. For This Purpose, A Feasibility Study Was Developed In Advance, Which Was Already Specified Afterwards (August 2024). A Citizen: Interior Decision In 2022 Confirmed This Decision And In March 2023 The Implementing Contract Between The City Of Wuppertal And The German Federal Garden Show Society (Dbg) Was Concluded, Which Contractually Agreed To Carry Out On The Basis Of The Feasibility Study. The Federal Garden Show 2031 Ggmbh Was Founded In March 2023 And Is Responsible For Realizing The Planning Competition. The Buga Wuppertal Is Located In The West Of The City And Comprises An Entire Area Of 45 Ha, 32.3 Ha Of Which Represent The Investment Area. The Area Is Made Up Of Three Different Core Areas With Different Requirements. Part Of The Task Is To Take Into Account The Different Types Of Areas And Simultaneously Embed Them In An Overall Design Concept. In Terms Of Area, The Core Area Tesche Is The Largest Coherent Area, But This Is Also Divided Into Small Parts By The Topography Mentioned.
