Work Detail

Complete Engineering Design Services And Construction Support For A Double Circuit 240 Kv Underground Transmission Line In Ductbank Of Approximately 5 Km In Length, To Be Located In Northeast Edmonton. Required Services Including Underground Power Cable, Joint, Termination, Riser Structure And Aerial Segment Design, Subsurface Utility Engineering, Execution Modelling, Substation And Distribution Ductbank Design Coordination And Cost Estimating Updates. The Successful Proponent Will Act As The Engineer Of Record (Eor) And Will Coordinate The Quality Assurance Quality Control (Qaqc) Program For This Scope Of Work, Including Material And Construction Inspection Test Plan (Itp). Epcor Is Currently Seeking Regulatory Approval For This Project, And All Design Services Will Be Completed For Both The Preferred And Alternate Route Until The Alberta Utilities Commission Has Approved One Of These Routes, Which Is Expected To Occur At Approximately 60% Design Completion. The Successful Proponent Will Act As The Owner’S Engineer Through To Energization And Commissioning, Currently Forecasted For 2028.
