Fire Line Repair . There Is A Broken Six (6) Inch Fire Main That Is Currently Isolated And Buried At Approximately 9 Feet That Must Be Excavated, The Scope Of The Situation Assessed, Repairs Completed, And The Line Restored To Operating Condition. The Objective Of This Invitation To Tender Is To Repair The Fire Line And Restore To Full Functionality. The Contractor Must Repair, Inspect And Recharge The Fire Line For The Applicable Section Affected By The Break. This Agreement Covers 100% Repair, Testing And Commissioning Of The Fire Main To Previous, Non-Broken Condition. 1. Excavate, Locate Break In Line Via Camera Or Any Other Methods Acceptable To Client, Recommend Hydrovac As Utility Drawings Are Not Accurate. Must Follow Ground Disturbance Practices And Procedures. 2. Repair Line, Via Replacement Of Broken Section With Coupling And/Or New Section Of Piping And Couplings. 3. Recharge Line, Check For Leaks 4. Replace Any Thrust Blocks/Gravel Support As Necessary 5. Back Fill Hole, Replacing Missing Soil If Necessary, Return Area To Original State 6. Repair Or Replace To Original Any Asphalt That Has Been Damaged Or Removed 7 Repair/Replace Any Asphalt Damaged Or Removed, Return Site To Original Condition
