Publication Date: 06/23/2025 12:00 Am Edt Eoi Deadline: 07/07/2025 11:59 Pm Edt Description: The International Finance Corporation (Ifc) Has Been Approached By Government Of Lebanon (Gol) To Act As Lead Transaction Advisor To Assist In Structuring And Tendering The Project. The Project Consists Of Three Interrelated Components To Be Delivered Through One Or More Public-Private Partnership (Ppp) Transactions (I) The Deployment Of A Floating Storage And Regasification Unit (Fsru) To Import, Store, And Regasify Liquefied Natural Gas (Lng); (Ii) The Rehabilitation And Transition Of The Existing 465 Mw Deir Ammar I Combined-Cycle Power Plant To Operate On Natural Gas, Including Its Transfer To A Private Operator; And (Iii) The Development Of A Greenfield Deir Ammar Ii Combined-Cycle Gas Turbine (Ccgt) Plant, Approximately 500 Mw. Ifc Intends To Retain An Environmental And Social (E&S) Consulting Firm (The Consultant) With Demonstrated Experience In Infrastructure Projects Preferably In Energy, Lng And Gas-To-Power Sectors And With A Strong Working Knowledge Of The Ifc Performance Standards And The World Bank Group Environmental, Health And Safety Guidelines. The Consultant Will Work In Close Coordination With The Technical And Legal Consultants Retained By Ifc To Carry Out Comprehensive Due Diligence And Also Support Ifc Throughout The Tender Process.
