The Department Of Agriculture, Food And The Marine (Dafm) Requires An Online E-Learning Solution To Deliver Continued Professional Development Training To Approved Fas Advisors That Can Be Completed At A Time And Place That Is Convenient To Them Within Their Existing Work Commitments. This Online Platform Should Be Available 24 Hours A Day, 7 Days A Week. The Platform Should Provide A Means Of Assessment At Points In The Training Modules. On Successful Completion Of Assessment The Platform Should Produce Proof Of Completion For Onward Verifications Within Dafm. The Department Has A Strong Commitment To Providing An Excellent Customer Service. Dafm’S External Customer Is Primarily The Farmer And Under The Charter Of Rights For Farmers The Department Is Committed To Develop And Improve Services To All Customers. The Introduction Of A New Solution To Manage Dafm’S Cpd Training Requirements Will Enhance Service Delivery To All Farmers Across The Sector. The Aim Is To Ensure That Advisors Are Up-Skilled And Can Pass On The Benefit Of Training To Their Farmer Clients – Both In Their Role In Advising Their Clients In Relation To Dafm Schemes, But Also In Their Wider Advisory Role Ensuring More Efficient And Effective Management Of Individual Holdings. The Solution Will Assist Dafm In Maintaining Accurate Records With Regard To Continued Professional Development Requirements And Provide A Centralised Location Related Training Including: • One Central Log Of All Cpd Training Undertaken By An Approved Agricultural Advisor • Monitoring Of Advisors Progress Through Cpd Modules • Improved Knowledge And Expertise With Minimum Standards Available Across The Agricultural Advisory Services Network • Improved Reporting Functionality In Respect Of Cpd Completions • Monitoring Of Advisor Interaction With The Cpd Training Programme
