Tenders Are Invited For Supply Of Science Lab Equipment For The Mcchesney George Secondary School

Tenders are invited for Supply of Science Lab Equipment for the McChesney George Secondary School. The Government of Antigua and Barbuda (GOAB) has received financing from the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) in an amount equivalent to Thirty-One Million, Two Hundred and Sixty-Five Thousand, Nine Hundred and Ninety-One United States Dollars (USD 31,265,991.00) towards the cost of the RRL Project and intends to apply a portion of the proceeds to eligible payments under this contract. Payment by CDB will be made only at the request of GOAB and upon approval by CDB, and will be subject, in all respects, to the terms and conditions of the Loan Agreement. The Loan Agreement prohibits a withdrawal from the Loan Account for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, or for any import of goods, if such payment or import, to the knowledge of CDB, is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations. No party other than GOAB shall derive any rights from the Loan Agreement or have any claim to the proceeds of the Loan. The Project Implementation Management Unit (PIMU) is the Executing Agency for the Project, and the Ministry of Housing and Works (MHW), on behalf of the Government of Antigua and Barbuda, is responsible for the overall implementation of the project. The Government of Antigua and Barbuda, intends to invite sealed bids from eligible and qualified bids for the supply of Science Lab Equipment for the Sir McChesney George Secondary School.
