The Ministry Intends To Amend The Current Shared Cost Arrangement Sca24cp103, With The Supplier. The Notice Of Intent (Noi) To Award The Original Contract Was Posted From April 13, 2023 Until April 23, 2023, And This Noi Closed Without Objections. The Contract Supports Ecological Goods And Services Payments To Farmers Through Programs Of The Supplier.The Changes That Are Being Contemplated With The Contract Amendment Are Described Below.An Extension Of The Contract End Date, From March 15, 2027 To March 15, 2028The Addition Of $653,000 To The Contract, Bringing The Total Contract Value To $3,112,000. The Purpose Of The Contract Amendment Would Be To Support Participants (Farmers) Who Enrol During The Current Fiscal Year (April 1, 2025, To March 31, 2026), In The Programs This Contract Supports, Since Farmers Are Required To Commit To 3 Years Of Participation When They Enrol. In Other Respects, Neither The Scope Of The Contract’S Services Nor The Annual Budget For Annual Payments Is Increasing.The Deliverables In This Project Will Help To Increase Agriculture Sector Capacity To Maintain Competitiveness, Manage Risks, Enhance Productivity, And Contribute To Economic Growth Through Action On Climate Change, Improving Drought Preparedness, And Increasing Environmental Sustainability.
