The Works To Be Constructed Under This Contract Generally Include, But Is Not Limited To, The Following: Upgrades To The Deception Gulch Dam Low Level Outlet (Llo) – • Demolition And Removal Of Items Noted In The Contract Documents, Including But Not Limited To, Water Control Gate Valve, Piping, Hydraulic Hoses, Etc. • Abandonment Of Air Vent Pipe To Include Installation Of Controlled Density Fill (Cdf) In Existing Air Vent Pipe. • Excavation And Backfilling Around Or Near The Dam Face To Facilitate The Replacement Of The Air Ventilation Piping. • Supply And Installation Of Cast-In-Place Concrete Extension Wall. • Assembly And Installation Of Water Control Gate Valve. • Supply And Installation Of Air Ventilation Piping And Conduit With Concrete Encasement. • Supply And Installation Of Hydraulic Hosing And Hydraulic Power Unit (Hpu) • Submission Of An Environmental Management Plan, Site Specific Safety Plan, Water Bypass Or Pumping Plan. Proponents May Be Awarded Follow-On Work Without A Competition. A Non-Mandatory Pre-Tender Site Meeting Will Be Held At Deception Gulch Lake Dam, And All Participants Will Be Meeting At 2995 Sooke Lake Road (Goldstream Gate) At 10:00 Am On July 03, 2025. Crd Staff Will Escort The Tenderers To The Dam Site. Tenderers Will Be Required To Register By 4:00 Pm On July 2, 2025, By Contacting Lani Odwyer Via – Email Or Office Phone, To Ensure That You Will Be Escorted To The Site.
