Request For Proposalsthe City Of Surrey (The “City”) Invites Proposals From Experienced And Qualified Proponents For The Provision Of The Required Skilled Labour, Tools, Materials, And Equipment For New Traffic Signal Controllers (“Controller/S”) And A Compatible Advanced Traffic Management System (“Atms”).The Successful Proponent’S Controllers Will Be Deployed At New Signalized Intersections In The City As Well As Replace The Existing Infrastructure Over A Multi-Year Period. The New Atms Will Be Used By The City’S Traffic Management Centre (“Tmc”) Staff For Various Applications Including Remotely Monitoring The Status Of Connected Controllers, Updating Controller Configuration Settings, And Analysing Data In Real-Time.As Part Of This Rfp, Proponents Will Be Shortlisted Based On Their Submissions. Shortlisted Proponents Will Be Required To Participate In Controller Testing (Schedule A1, Section 2.1.2). The Selection Of Proponents Invited To Participate In Solution Testing Will Be Determined Solely At The Discretion Of The City, And The City Reserves The Right To Limit Participation To One Or More Proponents Without Obligation To Extend The Opportunity To All Respondents.Information Meetingan Information Meeting Will Be Hosted By The City Representative To Discuss The City’S Requirements Under This Rfp (The “Information Meeting”). While Attendance Is At The Discretion Of Proponents, Proponents Who Do Not Attend Will Be Deemed To Have Attended The Information Meeting And To Have Received All Of The Information Given At The Information Meeting.
