Tenders Are Invited For Operation Of A Local Coffee Shop

Tenders are invited for Operation of a Local Coffee Shop in the Departure/Transit Area at Bandaranaike International Airport (Bia), Katunayake, Sri Lanka Terms and conditions and other details applicable will be issued with the Bidding documents. Bidding documents may be obtained on working days from 9.00 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. from 13th June 2025 upto 07th July 2025 from the office of Commercial & Properties Division, Room No.37, 2nd Floor, Passenger Terminal Building, Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake on payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 12,500.00 per set in cash with a request letter on a letterhead of the bidder. Bidding Documents could also be purchased from the website of Airport & Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Limited [AASL] www.airport.lk by making a non-refundable fee of Rs. 12,500.00 through online payment. Bidding Documents will be available for inspection, free of charge at the Office of Head of Commercial & Properties of Airport & Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Limited, Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake. Bids should be made only on Bidding Form issued by the Company and should accompany a Bid Bond to the value of Rs.422,000.00 in cash deposit or in the form of a Bank Draft or Bank Guarantee issued by a commercial bank or Licensed Specialized Bank operating in Sri Lanka and approved by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, valid for 150 days from the date of opening of Bids (i.e. 08th July 2025 up to 04th December 2025). A Pre-Bid briefing followed by a visit to the location will be conducted at 3.00 p.m. on 24th June 2025. Bidders or their duly authorized representatives may be present at the Pre-Bid Briefing. Sealed Bids shall be addressed to the Chairman, Departmental Procurement Committee No.2, Office of the Supply Chain Management Division, Airport & Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Limited, Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake and sent by Registered Post or should be deposited in the Box marked as DPC No.2 placed at the office of Supply Chain Management Division. Bids will be closed at 2.00 p.m. on 08th July 2025 and opened and read publicly thereafter at the office of the Supply Chain Management, Airport & Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Limited, Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake. Any bid received after the stipulated time of bid closing will be rejected unopened. Bidders or their duly authorized representatives may be present at the time of opening of bids..
