Tenders Are Invited For Operation Of A Personal & Beauty Care Shop

Tenders are invited for Operation of a Personal & Beauty Care Shop in the Departure/Transit Area at Bandaranaike International Airport (Bia), Katunayake, Sri Lanka Terms and conditions and other details applicable will be issued with the Bidding documents. Bidding documents can be purchased on working days from 9.00 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. from 13th June 2025 up to 08th July 2025 from the Office of Commercial & Properties Division, Room No.37, 2nd Floor, Passenger Terminal Building, Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), Katunayake on payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs.20,000.00 per set in cash by producing a request letter on a Company letter-head of the Bidder. The Bidding Documents could also be purchased from the website of Airport & Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Limited [AASLJ www.airport.lk by making a non-refundable fee of Rs. 20,000.00 through online payment. The Bidding Document will be available for inspection, free of charge at the Office of Head of Commercial & Properties of Airport & Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Limited [AASL], Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), Katunayake. Bids should be made only on Bidding Form issued by the Company and should accompany a Bid Bond to the value of Rs. 1,143,000.00 in cash deposit or in the form of a Bank Draft or Bank Guarantee issued by a Reputed Commercial Bank or a Licensed Specialized Bank operating in Sri Lanka and approved by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, valid for 150 days from the date of opening Bids (i.e. 09th July 2025 up to 05th December 2025). A Pre-Bid briefing followed by a visit to the location will be conducted at 1.00 p.m. on 24th June 2025. Bidders or their duly authorized representatives may be present at the Pre-Bid Briefing. Sealed Bids shall be addressed to the Chairman, Departmental Procurement Committee No. 1 and send by Registered Post to the Office of the Supply Chain Management Division, Airport & Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Limited, Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), Katunayake or should be deposited in the Tender Box placed at the Office of Supply Chain Management Division marked as DPC No. 1. Bids will be closed at 2.00 p.m. on 09th July 2025 and opened and read publicly thereafter at the Office of the Supply Chain Management Division, Airport R. Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Limited, Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), Katunayake. Any Bids received after the stipulated time of Bid closing will be rejected unopened.
