Work Detail

Research, Testing And Scientific Technical Simulator-Supply, Installation And Commissioning Of A Modular And Multi-Stack Of Power 60 Kw And Pressure 30 Bar For The Hydrogen Production Study By Renewable Generation Sources In Isolated Systems, Within The Framework Of The Recovery, Transformation And Resilience Plan. In Relation To The Objectives Of The Greenh2cm Project, The Design And Acquisition Of A Modular And Multi-Stack Electrolyzer That Allows To Carry Out The Tasks Associated With Said Project Is Proposed. Within The Framework Of The Greenh2cm Project, Among Other Tasks, The Development Of An Experimental Installation For The Production Of Hydrogen At Industrial Scale Through Renewable Sources With Field Generation Capacity Is Contemplated. The Objective Is To Perform The Relevant Tests And Tests To Integrate Renewable And Electrolyte Generation Systems, So That The Renewable Generation Adapts To The Optimized Operation Of Such Electrolyzers. Within The Greenh2cm Project, On The One Hand, This Electrolyzer Allows An Experimental Hydrogen Production Installation To Be Carried Out With A Modular And Multi-Stack Pem Concept, To Study The Different Controls And Configurations Of The Equipment With The Aim Of Improving The Capacity Factor And The Efficiency Of The Current Hydrogen Production Systems. On The Other Hand, It Will Allow To Characterize Its Behavior And Validate Its Response To A Variable Electricity Generation, Study The Aging And Degradation Of The Equipment, And Create A Dynamic Model Of The System To Analyze The Behavior Of This In Other Situations. With These Functionalities, It Is Intended To Carry Out An Exhaustive Study On How To Adapt The Renewable Generation To The Specific Consumption Needs Of Hydrogen Production Equipment, And Thereby Propose And Test Controls And Configurations To Optimize The Production Of Green Hydrogen And Make It Commercially Competitive. It Is Therefore To Provide The Ciemat Energy Department With A Singular Equipment, A 60 Kw Pem Type Electrolyzer, Mainly Motivated Its Acquisition By The Current Context Of Achieving A 100% Renewable System Before 2050 Through The Impulse Of The Green H2 As A Strategic Energy Vector For Spain, As Well As By The Reduction Of Emissions And Enhancing A Hydrogen Economy. Its Acquisition Will Allow The Center To Position In This Area And Strengthen Its Experimental Facilities. The Use Of This Equipment In The Climbing Of The Concepts Validated By The Ciemat At Laboratory Scale Can Be A Significant Advance Within The Area Of Electrolytic Production Of Green Hydrogen From Renewable Energy And Will Allow To Open The Doors To New Collaborations With Different Research Centers And Companies In The Sector.
