General Procurement Notice for Provision of Goods, Works, Non-Consulting Services and Consulting Services for Country Climate Resilient Sustainable Irrigation and Water Drought and Flood Mitigation project. The project will include the following components: strengthening flood protection infrastructure, modernization and strengthening of irrigation and drainage systems, flood and drought risk management and project management. The procurement activities to be carried out under this project include: a. consultancy services and related costs to support the preparation of the project include but not limited to 1) feasibility study, 2) environmental and social assessments and instruments, 3) stakeholder engagement plan, 4) procurement advisory analysis, 5) detailed engineering design, 6) dam safety assessments, 7) project delivery strategy and procurement plan, 8) framework for the selection and prioritization of project area, 9) climate vulnerability assessment, 10) financial management assessment and hydraulic modelling; b. conducting surveys, including LIDAR survey, topo geographical survey and hydrology survey, and other goods to be procured under the incremental operating costs such as setting up the PMU and PIU and its operation costs, staff training, stakeholder consultations, purchase of goods (office equipment, furniture, technical equipment and vehicles) taxes related to consultants fees, stationary costs, local travel per diem and allowance, communication costs, advertising, translation and interpretation costs, bank charges and other costs of similar nature directly associated with the implementation of the activities, all based on periodic budgets acceptable to the Bank.
