Tenders are invited for Construction of Girls Schools in Beledwein, Jowhar, and Mahaday Districts under the Gpe-Gea Program Hirshabelle State, Somalia The Girls Education Accelerator (GEA) was designed to contribute to the achievement of the priority reform defined in the 2023 Partnership Compact, which is aligned with the priorities of the 2022-2027 Education Sector Strategic Plan. The Partnership Compact seeks to create conditions to enhance equitable access to quality and inclusive education in rural and urban areas by addressing supply and demand barriers. In line with Outcome 1 of the GEA program, the project seeks to construct 20 new schools in underserved areas with a high concentration of out-of-school girls and limited or no existing education services across the Federal Member States. These schools will contribute to enrolling and retaining an additional 15,600 vulnerable girls in the education system.
