Jun 2025 Intervention Sector(s): Agriculture, Development, Training & Capacity Building Remuneration range: 1000 to 2000 (USD) Duration of Contract: 7 months 1. Summary The project aims to enhance environmental health in Lebanon by promoting sustainable agricultural practices and income generation through circular economy principles. It seeks to educate communities in North Lebanon on the ecological use of natural resources and build resilient livelihoods for vulnerable populations. Additionally, the project focuses on training teachers to raise awareness among children about climate change and sustainable agriculture. Through these efforts, the project supports long-term environmental well-being and economic stability in the region. 2. Deliverables Create a work plan for the site implementation. To provide agriculture consultancy during the implementation of the site. To Produce the assessment report for the staff. To Provide tailored technical agricultural training sessions for the field team at each site, based on a needs assessment. To Submit a progress report detailing the improvement in the field teams knowledge and practices at each site. 3. Qualifications University degree in agriculture or related fields Minimum 5 years of experience. Proven knowledge of Fair-Trade principles Proven presentation skills Drives results 4. Skills Adheres to FTL values Good interpersonal communication skills Engaged in developing self and others High degree of self-motivation Excellent leadership, team building, and management skills Good time management Organized and able to create multiple timelines and schedules Good knowledge of Arabic and English The consultant should submit a portfolio of previous projects, in addition to a short concept note related to the abovementioned intervention with a budget. The detailed work plan will be developed and agreed upon in coordination with FTL team. 5.
