Work Detail

Tenders are invited for Catering Services for Trainings and Workshops Provided by Institutions and Local Communities in Lebanon Pn: 24.4067.5-001.00 Violence Prevention and Mhpss Rawabet Closing Date: Thursday, 19. Jun 2025 Intervention Sector(s): Food & Nutrition Remuneration range: > 6000 (USD) Duration of Contract: Between 01.07.2025 until 27.11.2026 1- Context Lebanons ongoing economic decline and escalating conflicts have caused widespread poverty, displacement, and psychological trauma, particularly among marginalized groups. The combined effects of systemic exclusion, lack of resources and unresolved grievances have heightened tensions, increased violence, and left vulnerable populations at significant risk. Despite efforts to expand mental health services through the National Mental Health Program, survivor-centered MHPSS approaches remain insufficiently integrated at institutional and local levels. These approaches are crucial for addressing both immediate trauma and long-term well-being by prioritizing survivors dignity and empowering recovery, while also tackling systemic biases to improve service quality and sustainability. In response to these pressing challenges, this project aims to embed survivor-centered mental health and psychosocial support approaches within both the institutional and community levels. To achieve this, the project works closely with relevant orders, institutions, and local communities in Lebanon, ensuring accessibility for all Lebanese and structurally discriminated groups affected by violence. This effort includes targeted trainings and workshops designed for partners and stakeholders at both levels. These in-person trainings and workshops, spanning multiple days and multiple rounds, will provide comprehensive capacity-building on trauma-informed approaches. Given the diverse backgrounds of partners and participants, these sessions will be conducted across various locations in Lebanon. Consequently, ensuring reliable catering services that can accommodate the logistical and dietary needs of participants in different regions is essential for the successful implementation of these activities. 2-Tasks to be performed by the contractor The contractor is responsible for providing the following services: Catering services that can cover either all or part of the following, based on the needs: coffee breaks, lunch breaks, and service setup.
