Queensland Rail Is Seeking An External Provider For Security Services Coverage At Queensland Rail Locations And Onboard Rail Services. Queensland Rail Operates An Extensive Rail Network Across Queensland, Providing Suburban And Long-Distance Services Across The State. As Part Of That Railway Operation, Queensland Rail Has More Than 150 Stations, 16 Stabling Yards, Numerous Depots, And Other Assets Located Across South-East Queensland (Seq). In Addition, There Are Regional Stations That Service Long Distance Passenger Trains, Regional Depots And Facilities At Locations Including Gympie, Rockhampton, Townsville, And Cairns.Queensland Rail Requires The Following Types Of Security Services Throughout The Queensland Rail Network In The Seq And Regional Areas:Guardian Train Servicesstatic Guard Servicesmobile Alarm Response And Patrolsmobile Security Rail Patrols (Seq Network Stations)Cash Collection And Delivery Servicessecurity Dogs With Handlersadministrative Buildingsrail Management Centremayne Gatehouse Operationsin Addition To The Above Requirements, The Supplier Must Have The Capability To Supply A Minimum Of 200 Security Staff To Service The Network. Additional Staff Will Be Required To Cover Special Events, Including The 2032 Brisbane Olympics And Paralympics. Some Major Projects (Including Cross River Rail) May Impact Service Requirements (Including Number Of Personnel).
