Definition Of Requirements And Expected Results In The Spirit Of Reconciliation, Health Canada (Hc) Seeks To Involve First Nations In The Development Of Environmental Health Learning Products To Protect The Health Of First Nations In Their Homes. Under The Chemicals Management Plan (Cmp), The Healthy Home Campaign Provides Actionable, Plain Language Information To The Public On Protecting Human Health From Harmful Chemicals And Pollutants That May Be Found In And Around The Home. To Help Fill Any Gaps In First Nations’ Access To Health Protection Information And Resources, Health Canada Proposes To Co-Develop Healthy Home Sessions For First Nations Audiences. The Intent Is To Deliver Environmental Health Information In A Way That Respects First Nations Priorities And Enables Them To Identify, Address, And Avoid Or Reduce Exposures To Harmful Chemicals And Pollutants In Their Homes. Project Goal The Goal Is To Advance Reconciliation And Produce A Healthy Home Learning Package That Is Accessible, Culturally Relevant, And Meaningful For First Nations.
