Sub-component 1.2: Increasing Female Participation in Education The project will provide scholarships to secondary school girls in Kasai and financial incentives to recruit 5,000 female teachers in 10 provinces. Performance incentives will be paid after recruitment, up to $16 million, verified by an independent agency. Component 2: Improving the Quality of Teaching and Learning for All Sub-component 2.1: Strengthening the Curriculum, Textbooks, and Teaching and Learning Materials This sub-component aims to improve access to quality teaching materials, including digital ones.
