Tenders are invited for Experto/a en Manejo de Información-Ecuador Closing Date: 15 Jun 2025 Type: Consultancy Themes: Disaster Management/Peacekeeping and Peacebuilding Organization 3IS is an international non-profit organization whose role is to provide information management services to humanitarian and development organizations, enabling partners to make informed decisions that ultimately provide high-quality, targeted assistance to the worlds most vulnerable populations. 3IS turns data into information and creates knowledge for decision-makers operating in conflict, disaster, post-disaster and recovery environments, as well as other complex emergency situations and development contexts. Context The main objective of this project is to strengthen coordination among humanitarian actors through the analysis, evaluation and provision of synergistic information management services. Through this initiative, the exchange of information among humanitarian actors will be promoted to improve decision-making and optimize response capacity. EVIDEM organizations will share their experiences, knowledge, and lessons learned to achieve this purpose. Leveraging its expertise in humanitarian coordination mechanisms and capacity building in information management, 3iS seeks to strengthen and empower humanitarian partners, enabling them to leverage and optimize tools, technologies, platforms, and best practices in information management to respond more effectively to humanitarian crises. Description of Services The natural person providing these services will be responsible for the design, analysis and presentation of information management products to support strategic decision-making in the humanitarian field. Among its main functions, it will have to organize the collection, processing and analysis of data, ensuring that the information products are accurate, accessible and understandable for a general and specialized public. In addition, the professional must interact with different sectors, humanitarian organizations at the local and national levels, ensuring an adequate flow of information and the development of innovative methodologies to improve the quality and impact of the analyses. Activities Planning and Coordination Build the work plan, in agreement with the Ecuador National Coordinator.
