War Child Alliance in Lebanon is pleased to announce an open Call for Expression of Interest under the Be There Supporting Caregivers and Communities for Resilience project, funded by the Nationale Postcode Lottery. This initiative aims to enhance the psychosocial well-being of caregivers and children affected by the Syrian crisis in Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan, with a current focus on expanding implementation in Lebanon. Project Background The Be There program is a community-based psychosocial intervention designed to reduce stress among caregivers, promote positive parenting, and improve childrens emotional well-being. Following its successful rollout in Lebanon and the region, War Child seeks to collaborate with local NGOs and CBOs operating in Beirut, South, and North Lebanon, particularly in high-need and neglected areas. Objectives of the Partnership Identify local organizations with the need and capacity to implement the Be There intervention. Strengthen local capacity through tailored training and ongoing technical support. Deliver structured psychosocial support sessions to caregivers affected by the Syrian crisis, with the goal of reducing stress and improving family well-being.
