Expression Of Interest For Provision Of Comprehensive Education Services Related To European Themes For The European Commission Representation And Europe Direct Centres Provision Of Comprehensive Education Services Related To European Themes For The European Commission Representation And Europe Direct Centres Scheduled For June 2025 The European Commission Representations In Latvia Manage The European Union Houses And The Eu Home Education Resource Centre In Riga Projects To Establish Direct Links With Different Target Audiences, With Particular Emphasis On Educational Institutions, Educators And Young People. The Aim Of The Eu Home Education Resource Centre Is To Communicate The Priorities And Current Affairs Of The European Union In Various Forms, Proactively Contributing To The Acquisition Of New Knowledge And The Debate On The Future Of The Eu. On The Other Hand, Several Europe Direct Centres, Co-Financed And Managed By The European Commission, Currently Operate In The Regions, Whose Mission Is To Establish Direct Links With Schools In Their Area Of Operation And To Promote Official Teaching Materials On The European Union. Europe Direct Centres Can Engage In Educational Activities In Schools And Organise Teaching On Eu Issues For Educators. The Eu Home Education Resource Centre Works Closely With The Europe Direct Centres In Organising Visits To Schools And The Eu House, As Well As Information And Educational Activities And Projects, Further Developing And/Or Expanding The Content Of Projects Addressed To Educational Institutions, Attracting A New Audience And Continuing To Maintain Cooperation With Institutions That Have Previously Been Involved In Projects Supported By The Ec. The Representation Of The European Commission In Latvia Calls On A Qualified Service Provider To Provide Pedagogical Support Services To The Representation Of The European Commission For The Duration Of The Contract, Drawing Up And Implementing A Common Strategy For Dealing With Latvian Education Institutions And Young People. This Will Include The Design, Organisation And Management (In-Person And Online) Of Visits To Educational Institutions And Visits To The Eu Home, The Organisation Of Training Seminars For Teachers, Interactive Classes, Conferences, Thematic Competitions For Students In Educational Establishments, The Attraction Of Experts, The Development Of Teaching Materials (Both Digital And Physical), The Delivery Of Teaching Material To Educational Institutions, The Presentation Of Materials From The Ec Representation And The Eu Institutions, As Well As The Provision Of Other Services As Necessary To Ensure A Smooth, Timely Flow Of Information And Exchanges With Educational Institutions On Eu Values And Priority Issues On The Eu Agenda. The Service Provider Will Also Have The Task Of Coordinating The Activities Back To School/Back To University.
