Publication Date: 05/26/2025 12:00 AM EDT EOI Deadline: 06/09/2025 11:59 PM EDT Description: The World Bank intends to hire a consulting company to improve the conceptual definition, conduct the detailed assessment, and prepare a pre-feasibility study for each of four project Proposals submitted by the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources (MoPMR) that describes in detail its concept; scope; technical, financial, economic, and commercial feasibility; estimated emissions abatement volumes; risks; funding gaps and recommended financing package structure; organizational implementation readiness; project management provisions; procurement plan; implementation plan and environmental and social impacts. The objectives of the consulting assignment are (1) to support the MoPMR with the conceptual definition of the prioritized project Proposals that the MoPMR, on behalf of Egypts General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) and its affiliates, has submitted for consideration, (2) to enhance the World Banks/GFMRs understanding of the projects included in the Proposals, and, (3) to inform World Bank/GFMR post-assignment screening and selection of each Proposal and of the projects included and selected in each Proposal for consideration of a Gas Flaring and Methane Reduction TF (GFMR) implementation-grant.
