Jul 2025 Intervention Sector(s): Agriculture, Training & Capacity Building Duration of Contract: August 15-2025 SCOPE OF WORK :The Michel Daher Foundation seeks for a trainer to deliver the following: Conduct a networking acvity to accelerate the introducons between 60 parcipants. Train parcipants on how to build and finetune their business model. Advise the Startups on the structure and design of their pitch deck to convey the informaon required by investors Train the Entrepreneurs on a 3-minute pitch with visual aids (PowerPoint Pitch Deck) Train the Entrepreneurs on leveraging their Body Language to increase their credibility when pitching to prospecve clients or investors Train the Entrepreneurs on dealing with the stressful environment of pitching investors for equity/debt capital injecons EXPECTED DELIVERABLES The trainer needs to conduct the following activities before and during the hackathon: Preparaon Phase: Coordinate with the MDSF team to agree on the acvies and training content. Equip the MDSF team with the knowledge and content they need to support the acvies. Final report is to be submied to Michel Daher Social Foundaon, including parcipant feedback and progress. The main objecves of the pitching workshop are: Develop essential skills for craing and delivering an effecve pitch deck. Learn to tailor messages to specific audiences for maximum impact. Enhance parcipants ability to communicate the value proposion of their startup idea. Improve parcipants presentaon skills. Pivot their ideas into achievable, realisc, and needed startups. QUALIFICATIONS: Expertise and experience in entrepreneurship and so skills training. A minimum of 5 years of experience is required. Demonstrable knowledge of the various fields related to pitching, including but not limited to: body language, public speaking, and negoaon skills. Experienced trainer who is comfortable with ambiguity and able to adjust the approach to the specific needs of the parcipants. Effective communicator with any audience in an organized, professional manner. Creave problem-solver with thorough aenon to detail. Desire to deeply understand and empathize with our parcipants. Prior work experience in the country and Bekaa region. Strong analytical and training skills. Ability to present complex informaon in a concise and convincing manner and to use innovave forms of communication. Excellent oral and writen Arabic and English languages.
