Tenders Are Invited For End Of Project Evaluation

Khm 1066 Smart Is A Direct Follow-Up To Khm 1061-19 “Development Of A Multi-Stakeholder Platform In The Rubber Sector In Southeast Asia”, A Project Hich Was Implemented Simultaneously In Thailand, Myanmar, And Cambodia. The Project Concluded In June 2023 With Khm 1066 Starting In September 2023. The Project Design Builds On The Achievements And Was Informed By The Findings And Recommendations Of The Mid-Term Evaluation (May 2022) Of Its Predecessors With A Focus On The Projects Cambodia Component. The Intervention Continues Where Its Predecessor Left Providing Technical And Financial Support To The Sustainable Natural Rubber Multi-Actor Partnership Platform, Which Brings Together Stakeholders From The Public And Private Sectors, But Also Civil Society Organisations And Agricultural Cooperatives Interested In The Promotion Of Sustainable Rubber Production In Cambodia. While The Projects Main Efforts Are Concentrated In The Provinces Of Mondulkiri And Tbong Khmum, A Considerable Amount Of Work Is Also To Be Evaluated On Phnom Penh Level. The Snr Map Strives To Provide A National Forum For Actors In Cambodia’S Rubber Sector, While Ensuring Smallholder Farmers Are Empowered And Can Actively Participate In The Development And Shaping Of The Country’S Rubber Sector. While Welthungerhilfe’S Local Partners Facilitate The Map On Provincial Level, Whh Is Responsible For The Project’S Overall Coordination And Ensure Capacity Strengthening For Its Local Partners And Map Members. The Tendered Consultancy Will Evaluate The Projects Performance, Identify Gaps And Shortcomings In Its Design, And Produce Recommendations That Will Facilitate The Development Of Potential Future Map Projects And/Or Programmes In The Region. The Final Evaluation Report Will Be Primarily Used By Whh And The Projects Main Donor (Bmz). However, Selected Other Stakeholder Will Have Access To The Evaluation Such As Whhs Local Partners, The Map Steering Committee And Secretariat Etc.
