The Cooperative Republic Of Guyana Has Received Financing In The Amount Of Five Million Usd From The Inter-American Development Bank (Idb) And Intends To Utilize The Funds For Eligible Payments Related To The Procurement Of Goods, Works, Related Services, And Consulting Services Under The Strengthening Instructional Leadership At District And School Levels Program. The Main Objective Of The Project Is To Contribute To Improved Quality, Equitable Participation And Achievement In Basic Education For The Sustainable Development Of Guyana. The Specific Objectives Are To: (A) Strengthen School And District Leadership; And (B) Improve Sector Management. These Objectives Will Be Achieved Through These Components.
