The University Medicine Of The Johannes-Gutenberg University Mainz Is Planning To Build A Research And Laboratory Building For The Helmholtz Institute For Translational Oncology And Cancer Immunotherapy On Its Southwestern Site. The New Hi-Tron Building Is The Keystone Of The Already Completed Series Of Modular Buildings (Pkzi/Kti) On Kilian Weg, In The Southwest Of The University Medical Center Mainz. The Building Consists Of A Rectangular Solid Building With Basement, Ground Floor, 4 Upper Floors And A Technology Center On The Attic (5Th Upper Floor). This Award Unit Deals With The Services For Ventilation Technology In The Entire Building. Laboratory Rooms Including Documentation Zones, Meeting Rooms And Internal Areas Are Supplied Via Ventilation Systems. The Entire Ventilation Is Supplied For Both The Laboratory And Side Areas Via A Joint Ventilation Network Of Two Partial Climate Systems That Are Connected In Parallel With A Total Air Volume Of Approx. 40,000 M³/H. The Central Devices Have Heat Recovery Using A Circulatory Heat Composite System. In Addition To Deductions, The Laboratory Areas Are Also Equipped With Hazardous Substance Warehouse Cabinets, Which Are Completed At A Separate Exhaust System.
