Tenders are invited for Sport for Well-Being Specialist (Consultant). Closing Date: Saturday, 31. May 2025 Intervention Sector(s): Sports & Recreation Remuneration range: > 6000 (USD) Duration of Contract: 30 working days across a period of 3 months Under the supervision of the Lebanon PSS Specialist and Global Child Protection and Psychosocial Support Lead, the Sport for Well-being Specialist (Consultant) is responsible for developing and strengthening the use of Sport related to programs focused on improving children and young peoples protection and psychosocial wellbeing. The Specialist (Consultant) will mainly support Lebanon programs integrating child protection and psychosocial support, developing play-based manuals, sessions, MEL activities and training approaches and resources that can be rolled out across Right To Plays country programs on the use of Sport-based activities for Protection and Psychosocial wellbeing. As a skilled facilitator and trainer, the Sport for Well-being Specialist will provide ongoing support to Lebanon Country Office ensuring continuous knowledge, sharing of best practices and lessons learned on the use of Sport-based activities to advance the work on Child Protection and Psychosocial Support. The Specialist will work closely with Global Child Protection and Psychosocial Support Team (Global and Country-based) upon needs in RTP country offices, including strong collaboration with other global and country Program Quality & Impact teams as part of a surge capacity response to specific immediate needs (like in programmatic responses as a result of conflict and fragility). Specific to this consultancy, the role will support the delivery of Play Well Project aimed at capacitating physical education teachers to deliver sports for PSS activities in their schools, he/she will be involved in needs assessments and consultants with teachers and school directors, design of PSS framework and development of training resources to be used. He/she will also play a role in monitoring, evaluation and learning of the project. The consultancy period will be for 30 working days across a period of 3 months.
