Tenders are invited for Appointment of an Electrical Contractor for the Electrification of 280 Residential Units at Phola Township - Ezipokweni. Duly completed tenders enclosed in a sealed envelope marked APPOINTMENT OF AN ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR FOR THE ELECTRIFICATION OF 280 RESIDENTIAL UNITS AT PHOLA TOWNSHIP - EZIPOKWENI, BID NO. ELM 15/2025, CLOSING DATE: 20 JUNE 2025 with the name of the Tenderer, shall be deposited in the clearly marked tender box situated at Emalahleni Local Municipality, Civic Centre, 29 Mandela Street, eMalahleni, 1035 before 11h00 on the closing date. The tenders will thereafter be opened in public. A non-compulsory virtual clarification meeting with representatives of the Employer will take place on Thursday, 29 May 2025 starting at 11h00 via Microsoft Teams. Tenderers are required to register for attending the virtual briefing to be conducted by the Clients Representative by sending details (email address and representative name and surname) of the bidding entity to [email protected]. A Microsoft Teams invite will be sent to the bidding entities registered not later than Wednesday, 28 May 2025 at 15:00. A preferential point system shall apply whereby a contract will be allocated to a tenderer in accordance with the Preferential Procurement Regulations, 2022 and as defined in the Conditions of Tender in the tender document, read in conjunction with the Supply Chain Management Policy of ELM where 80 points will be allocated in respect of price and 20 points in respect of Specific goals.
