Tenders Are Invited For Turf Maintenance And Associated Services Across Three Separable Portion’S For Three Zone’S In The Sunshine Coast Council Region.Respondents Are Advised That The Contract Turf Maintenance Services (Contract Number Itt1951) Was Originally Released Via A Public Tender In July 2021 For 16 Separable Portions. This Tender Is Being Undertaken For Separable Portion’S B,C And D Only As Detailed Below. The Remaining Separable Portions Are Currently Under Contract.This Separable Portions Contract Consists Of Three Separable Portion’S:•Separable Portion B - Open Space Turf Maintenance Zone 1B•Separable Portion C - Open Space Turf Maintenance Zone 2•Separable Portion D - Open Space Turf Maintenance Zone 3Open Space Turf Maintenance Is The Scheduled Maintenance Of Parkland, Easements, Road Side Verges And Traffic Treatments Eg. Roundabouts.The Successful Contractor For Zone’S 1B, 2 And 3 In Separable Portion’S B, C And D Will Perform The Identified Service Requirements For The Term Of The Contract. The Services Across Each Of The Three Separable Portions Include But Are Not Limited To: A)Turf Maintenance;B)General Maintenance;C)Green Waste Removal;D)Tree Hand Pruning; E)Park And Playground Infrastructure Inspections;F)Contract Reporting; Andg)Herbicide Application - Turf Maintenance.The Service Specification (Attachment 1) Details The Full Scope Of Works To Be Performed.This Is A Schedule Of Rates Contract For All Sites Identified In The Tender. Council May Include Additional Sites During The Term Of The Contract To Meet Changes To Council’S Service Delivery Methods Or The Development Of New Sites. All Sites Will Be Maintained At Varying Service Levels. There Are Five (5) Service Level Categories, Depending On Site And Separable Portion, And Each Category Has A Set Range Of Services Annually. The Typical Service Level Frequency For Each Category Is Included In Attachment 1 – Specification.Council Will Establish The Servicing Frequencies For Each Category At The Commencement Of The Contract. During The Contract Term Council May Vary The Service Levels For The Categories Within The Established Minimum To Maximum Range To Allow For Seasonal Changes, Or Any Other Requirements As Required. The Tendered Rates Will Be Applied To The Sites Within Each Separable Portion. These Rates Will Be Also Used For Any Future Sites Included For Maintenance Within Each Of The Zones, And Any Variations In Service Delivery Frequencies Notified By Council. It Is Council’S Intention To Maintain A High Standard For All Works Across The Region At All Times And The Successful Contractors Will Be Monitored Through Established Key Performance Indicators And Regular Communication With The Nominated Contract Administrator/S For The Contract.Contractors Shall Provide At Their Own Cost And Expense All Transport, Labour, Materials, Plant, Equipment, Signage, Traffic Control And Any Other Associated Costs Necessary For The Proper And Complete Performance Of This Contract.This Is A Schedule Of Rates Contract, Anticipated To Commence Late July 2025, And Expiring 30 June 2026, In Line With The Existing Contract Timelines.
