2025-26-103 Design And Installation Of (Minimum)350Kva Backup Generatorcouncil Is Undertaking A Critical Infrastructure Upgrade To Improve The Resilience Of Its Operations During Emergency Events. This Project Involves The Design, Supply, Installation, And Commissioning Of A 350 Kva Backup Generator System On The South Side Of The Crossing Theatre, Including All Structural And Electrical Components Necessary To Ensure Full Building Power Supply In The Event Of A Disaster Or Mains Power Outage. The Selected Contractor Will Be Responsible For Delivering A Turnkey Solution, Including Engineering Design, Structural Stand Construction, Generator Installation, Electrical Integration, And Any Required Compliance Or Certification Activities. The Installation Must Adhere To Applicable Codes And Standards, With Particular Attention To Site-Specific Constraints Such As Flood Risk And Potential Development Approval Requirements. This Project Is Grant-Funded, And As Such, All Works Must Be Completed Within The Funding Deadline. Timeframes For Design, Approvals, Procurement, And Installation Must Be Strictly Managed To Ensure Delivery Is Achieved Prior To The Expiration Of Funding. Council Seeks A Contractor Who Can Demonstrate: •Proven Experience In Delivering Similar Generator Installations; •Capacity To Manage Da/Cc/Oc Processes (If Applicable); •Familiarity With Working In Flood-Prone Environments; •Ability To Meet Tight Delivery Timelines Without Compromising On Quality Or Compliance. The Contractor Must Account For All Regulatory, Engineering, And Safety Obligations Within Their Tender.
