The Legislative Assembly Of British Columbia Wishes To Retain General Contractor Services For Roof Repairs On The Parliament Buildings, Targeting Repairs To Copper Trough Gutters, Targeted Re-Soldering Of Copper Domes, Restoration Of Copper Dormer Enclosures, Localized Slate Roofing Repairs, Drainage Upgrades, And Skylight Replacement In The City Of Victoria, In The Province Of British Columbia. In Addition, Work May Also Require Structural Seismic Improvements To The Roof And The Domes. The Work Will Need To Be Completed Over The Course Of Several Years And Will Be Split Into Several Phases; Short-Term, Medium-Term And Long-Term Repairs. This Rfp Focuses On The First Stage Of The Short-Term Roof Repairs (Strr). For Future Phases, The Successful Proponent Will Be Provided With A New Scope Of Work, Requested To Provide Input And Will Need To Provide Pricing. Future Work Related To Roof Upgrades Will Be Awarded To The Successful Proponent Of This Rfp At The Sole Discretion Of The Legislative Assembly.
