Bid opening date: No Specific Opening Date and Time Bid bond: 20,000.00 Birr Region: Addis Ababa Dan Church Aid (DCA) is a Danish International Non-Governmental Organization (INGO), registered by Agency for Civil Society Organization under certificate # 1083. DCA has been operating in Ethiopia Since 2004 and it has been supporting humanitarian assistance and long-term development either in partnership with local Civil Society organizations, direct implementation, or co-implementation. DCA has also been establishing consortia with local and international organisations to jointly plan and implement projects. Currently DCA operates in five geographic areas such as lowland Bale, Wag-himra, Afar, South Omo and Gambella regional states. Dan Church Aid (DCA) Ethiopia Country Office is inviting qualified firms for the Supply, transport and installation of Hybrid solar Power for office use. This tender invite interested Solar Suppliers to participate in the procurement procedure for Supply, transportation installation and Commissioning of DCA South OMO field office Solar HYBRID system for office use. Please specify tender reference No Special Conditions/Requirements: - Company Profile of interested firms is required as per the details in the instructions to bidders. Suppliers should include copies of Valid TIN Copy of VAT registration certificate Copy of Work Competence Certificate from relevant government authority for the year 2017 EC The Bidder shall furnish a bid security of ETB 20,000 (Twenty Thousand Birr) in the form Certified Payment Order (C.P.O) or unconditional Bank guarantee. Joint Venture application is allowed only the two firms signed agreement authenticated by the Federal documentation, registration and authentication Agency. Any other joint venture application is not acceptable and rejected automatically. Any joint application should clearly indicate the lead organization and DCA shall sign agreement with the lead organization. (refer the above point). Copy of renewed trade license for Ethiopian FY 2017 EC otherwise a ground for rejection. Firms expected to submit recent testimonial letters relevant for the assignment preferably from likeminded organizations as per the details stated in the tender document. The testimonial letter expected to have detailed address of the focal person email and contact number. The offered prices shall be quoted in Ethiopian Birr (ETB). Failure to meet one of the eligibility criteria like registration renewed registration license, TIN and VAT, will be grounds for rejection. Late submission will not be acceptable and will lead to automatic rejection. Attaching a recommendation letter from other international organization or similar sectors in similar business is recommended. The bid document should be sealed in an envelope and stamped, the BID reference number NOT/009/2025 must be labelled on the outside of the two envelopes and submitted to DAN CHURCH AID ADDIS ABABA OFFICE. Evaluation will be finalized within two weeks after the bid documents are opened. The validity period of the bids should be at least 30 (thirty) days from the deadline of tender submission. Successful bidders will be communicated with by the DCA office and will be issued a letter of award Unsuccessful Contractors will also be communicated with by the office through their email addresses and letters of regret will be sent to respective bidder/s. Nominated Contractors or Contractors would need to fully agree with the clauses and articles stated in the draft agreement and confirm their acceptance by signature of proper contractual agreement. The nominated Contractors should be willing to accept with Dan Church Aid that payment will be made after delivery. Tender opening details will be notified to the bidders.
