Context The GIZ project Support for disadvantaged, peripheral neighbourhoods in Lebanon through Cash for Work (CfW North) aims at increasing the socio-economic resilience capacities of vulnerable people in North Lebanon and Akkar through short-term employment using Cash for Work. Output 1 - Temporary Employment through Cash for Work Output 2 - Steering Committees Lebanons security context is fragile and prone to a sudden, nation-wide crises and emergencies. GIZ Lebanon has a thoroughly developed system to maintain its security and always assess the situation to provide best secured working place to its employees. Minimum passing score for the technical assessment: 500 points. Bidders scoring below this threshold will be disqualified and will not proceed to the financial assessment stage. General Conditions The Offers must be submitted in English Language. If the contractor is not registered with the Ministry of Finance and does not hold an income tax number, GIZ reserves the right to deduct 8.5% from the invoiced amount.
