City Of Moreton Bay (Council) Provides Prospective Tenderers With An Advance Tender Notice On Its Intent To Invite Tenders For The Delivery Of Community Events.Backgroundcouncil Is Seeking To Engage A Contractor (Or Multiple) To Deliver Free Community Events On Behalf Of City Of Moreton Bay And To Support External Organisers Seeking To Deliver Community Events In Our City. These Events Are Provided Primarily For Residents Of City Of Moreton Bay, With An Emphasis On Enriching The Vibrancy Of Our City By Offering Free Events Close To Home. We Want To Ensure That City Of Moreton Bay Remains A Vibrant, Connected, And Progressive Community With Events That Cater To A Diverse Range Of Interests, Particularly As We Approach The Brisbane 2032 Olympic And Paralympic Games. City Of Moreton Bay Will Be Seeking Tender Responses From Interested Parties For The Delivery Of Community Events For The Period Of 1 March 2026 – 30 June 2029, With A 3-Year Option To Extend At Council’S Discretion Before The End Of This Financial Year.The Services Will Be Structured Into Three Parts, With The Option For Suppliers To Tender For The Delivery Of One Or More Parts. Part 1 | Signature Events:End To End Delivery Of 13 Signature Eventssignature Events Are Larger Scale Community Events, Targeted At Residents From Across City Of Moreton Bay. Council Has Identified The Annual Signature Events To Be Included Within The Tender. These Include: •The Hills Carnivale, Located In Ferny Hills And Held On The Last Saturday Of May; •Caboolture Family Fun Day, Located In Caboolture And Held On The Royal Queensland Show Holiday For City Of Moreton Bay; •An Event On Australia Day, Located On Bribie Island; •An Event On Australia Day, Located On The Redcliffe Peninsula; •Moreton Bay Eco Fest, Location Unspecified; •An Emergency Services Expo Promoting Disaster Management And Preparedness, Location To Alternate Annually Between Bribie Island And A Hinterland Location And Held In Or Around Get Ready Qld Week; •An Event Celebrating The Lunar New Year, Located In Caboolture Cbd And Held On Or Around The Lunar New Year; •A Major Childrens Festival, Located At Pine Rivers Park In Strathpine; •A Major Community Event, Located At Pine Rivers Park In Strathpine; And•Christmas In City Of Moreton Bay Program Including The Delivery Four Christmas Carol Events, Located In The Redcliffe Peninsula, North Lakes, Caboolture & Strathpine And Held In The Month Leading Into Christmas.Part 2 | Precinct Events:End To End Delivery Of 24 Precinct Events Precinct Events Are Smaller Scale, Localised Community Events, Targeted At Residents Local To The Area, And Potentially From Across The City. This Program Of Events Is Intended To Comprise Of 24 Targeted Precinct-Based Community Events, Evenly Distributed Across City Of Moreton Bays 12 Divisions (2 Events Per Division). Council Will Encourage The Market To Put Forth Their Event Concepts For Precinct Events Within Tender Submissions.
