Tenders are invited for Senior Communication Strategist Closing Date: 20 May 2025 Type: Consultancy Project Brief and Scope of Work Recent crisis in health, natural disaster, and effect of climate change has significantly emphasized the importance of social protection. Regional efforts to collaborate, expand and systemize financing of social protection are ongoing. As part of this undertaking, members of the alliance are looking for a communication specialist to create a strategy to be implemented in various platforms to disseminate this effort. Specifically, the strategist is to support the project by doing the following key activities: Develop communication strategies within the areas of health financing and social protection through creating, editing, and supporting the development of various communication materials; Follow-up planning for implementation of an existing strategy, including storytelling formats and creating communication concepts and products aligned with the strategy; Provide technical inputs on health financing and social protection materials; Support of the team in overall planning and alignment of the communication agenda; and Ensure visual collaterals are implemented based on communication strategies. Qualifications/ Requirements Education/Training: Relevant education in public relations and communications Language: Proficient in English; and German/ French is highly desirable Professional experience: More than 15 years experience in providing communications advisory services and developing communications strategy Proven experience in implementing health financing and social protection related projects in developing countries Proven experience in visual storytelling, including video and photography, etc. More than 15 years experience of leadership experience and experience collaborating with multicultural stakeholders Knowledgeable in regional social issues and relevant global projects Preferred Criteria: Have worked in development sector How to apply Please provide: Your most updated CV Provide links to content showcase/portfolio of relevant work; Indicative professional fee in USD (daily rate) Costs related to travel, accommodation, insurance (travel, equipment) and other incidentals need not be considered in the professional fee.
