Tenders are invited for Consultant for Documentation of the Community Cooking Demonstration and Providing the Best Culinary Practices Training of Trainers Career Category: Consultancy Location:Siemreap Province, Banteay Meanchey Province, Oddar Meanchey Province Scope of Work The consultant will be responsible for the following tasks: Documentation of Community Cooking Demonstrations Observe, document and make recommendations for community cooking demonstrations, highlighting traditional Khmer cuisines. Develop a community cooking demonstration booklet in Khmer language detailing the best practices and benefits of the community event, cooking techniques, creative and nutritious recipes for home cooks, and nutritional value of the dishes prepared. Capture high-quality photos and graphic design for educational and promotional purposes. Emphasize the use of vegetables and spices sourced from regenerative home gardens to showcase their nutritional benefits and sustainability. Training in Culinary Best Practices Design and deliver a Train of Trainer session in Khmer for relevant stakeholders on best practices in food preparation, hygiene, and nutrition. Provide practical demonstrations on improved cooking methods that enhance flavor, food safety, and nutritional retention. Educate participants on the nutritional needs of children under five years old and how regenerative home gardens can contribute to improving their diets. Development of Training Materials Prepare user-friendly and Khmer language training manuals, recipes, and guidelines tailored to the local context. Qualifications and Experience o The ideal consultant should have: Proven experience in culinary arts, nutrition, or food safety training. Strong knowledge of Khmer cuisine and traditional cooking methods. Experience in conducting community-based training and documentation. Excellent communication and facilitation skills. Ability to develop culturally appropriate and user-friendly training materials. Familiarity with regenerative agriculture and its application in home gardens.
