Expression of Interest For Consulting Firm

Expression of Interest are invited for Consulting Firm (National) (Time-Based) Title Of Service: Selection of firm for consultancy services for the Detail Feasibility Study (DFS), Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) study, Initial Environmental Examination (IEE) with Site Clearance and Design along with Route Survey (RS) for Transmission Line and Land Survey for the construction of Padma 80 MW Solar Power Plant Project, Zajira, Shariatpur & Shibchar, Madaripur. Brief Description of Assignment: The objective of the Study is to provide Consultancy services for Detail Feasibility Study (DFS), Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) study, Initial Environmental Examination (IEE), Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) with Site Clearance and Design along with Route Survey (RS) for Transmission Line and Land Survey for the construction of Padma 80 MW Solar Power Plant Project, Zajira, Shariatpur & Shibchar, Madaripur. To prepare proposals that assist to get different approvals/licences from GoB and DoE. Moreover, it is the responsibility of the Consultant to prepare IEE for obtaining Site Clearance Certificate from DoE. ESIA study needs to be reviewed and updated by the Consultant as per the observation of the Donor Agency. Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required: i) The consultancy firm should have a minimum of 5 years of overall experience. ii) The firm shall have experience of successfully completed at least 1 (one) contracts of conducting Detailed Feasibility study of Solar power plant construction project whose minimum capacity is 40MW each within the last 5 years. iii) The firm shall have experience of successfully completed at least 1 (one) contracts of conducting Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) study of any Grid-connected Power Plant within the last 5 years. iv) The firm should be registered for Consultancy Services with legal documents (Valid Trade license/Certificate of Incorporation, VAT & TIN certificate). The EOIs would be reviewed on the basis of the following: Brochures submitted by the Applicants summarizing their facilities and areas of expertise; Descriptions of similar assignments; Availability of appropriate experience and professional qualifications among Applicants staff and adequate resources to carry out the assignment; and Managerial strength and financial capacity (Summary sheet of Turn Over statement and year-wise Audited financial reports of the applicant for the last 3 (three) years). The applicant must submit documentary evidence conforming the above in order to evaluate. Any application submitted later than the specified time shall not be entertained. RFP will be issued only to short listed firms.
